Démons et merveilles (Demons and Marvels) is a song composed by Maurice Thiriet based on a poem by Jacques Prévert for the film Les visiteurs du soir by Marcel Carné (1942).  It was the main theme of the concert programme. Depending on their musical character or the content of their text, each song focused either on demons or on marvels.
