Since 1996, in Paris, Les Caramels Fous, the LGBTQ musical comedy troupe, Équivox, the gay lesbian choir of Paris and Mélo'Men have been organising a big charity event called Les Voix contre le Sida (VCS). Each time, the profits are donated to associations involved in the fight against AIDS.

For this event, the beneficiary associations were Parisifal, which works to improve the psychological and physical well-being of HIV-positive people, and Basiliade, which supports and accommodates HIV-positive people living in precarious social circumstances.
