Since 1996, in Paris, Les Caramels Fous, the LGBTQ musical comedy troupe, Équivox, the gay lesbian choir of Paris and Mélo'Men have been organising a big charity event called Les Voix contre le Sida (VCS). Each time, the profits are donated to associations involved in the fight against AIDS.

For this event, the beneficiary association was Arcat-Sida, which aims to inform, support and defend the rights of HIV-positive people.
